Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card I made for my sister-in-law’s 50th Birthday

I have used a Kanban Bakground card with a topper made from a stamped image from a set from Stampin’ Up!

Bikers Card

This is a card made for a friend who is off on a ride from Southampton to the Gambia on a Honda C90. He is riding on a group who are off to a hospital in the Gambia to help out and leave the bikes for the medical staff to use. Among the group is a dentist who will be doing free dental treatment, as well as bricklayers and IT people.

The card is stamped with ClarityStamp motorbikes- the large one and the mini one, using DI in Brown Corduroy, white  Velvet ribbon coloured with the same inkpad and a sentiment form Craftwork ards.

Clarity Rose Spray Card 1

This card was made using a Claritystamp Rose Spray that I bought in the Club Members half-price sale. I stamped it with Versamark onto some Soft Suede Cardstock (Stampin’ Up!). The same image was stamped onto some watercolour paper and coloured using Distress Inks (Barn Door) and edged with Gold Krylon Pen, then matted onto black paper and Cream Embossed Pearlescent Card.

This will go into my Stash Box ready for a sentiment when the occasion arises.

Get Well Card

Get Well Card February 2011

This is a Get Well Card for my neighbour who had a fall while walking her dog. She lay in a puddle in the pouring rain until her husband went to look for her. Her dog Tim had gone home to get him. Anyway she ended up with a broken leg , just above her new knee and a twisted ankle and a broken wrist on the other side. Despite everything she is quite chirpy but will be in hospital another 4 weeks or so.

Bleach Painting

This card was made as a piece of homework from an online class run by Glenda Waterworth through My Creative Classroom called ‘Rubber Stamping- Terrific Techniques’.

Bleached Harlequin Rose Card

The Harlequin Rose(Elusive Images) was Stamped onto brown card and embossed in Gold detail embossing powder.Thin bleach was used to paint out parts of the flower.
Different card reacts in a different way so you don’t know what you are getting until it dries.

Mounted onto white card stamped with a rose leaf , again embossed in gold, and then mounted onto a navy panel. The base card is another piece of the same brown card that the image was stamped on.

The Sentiment was stamped and mounted as before.

The Rose Tag was coloured with two colours of Di and then stamped and embossed in Gold EP before being painted with bleach.

The bleach worked differently on each of the two colours of  ink.

I will post more images from the class ‘homework’.
